American History is the 3rd year course in The Albany Academies History sequence. The course will begin with the peopling of the Americas and conclude with a study of contemporary issues and the emergence of a new world order.

American History focuses on the development of the Americas, from our Native-American and colonial heritage to the emergence of an independent nation and the problems we faced, through the Civil and World Wars, the evolution of democracy, our political and cultural systems and our place in the world today.

Tests below C may require Advisor and Parent Signature. Absence for a major test may require a note for make-up.
